I am more confident, much relaxed, and finally getting the hang of the hectic and wonderful world of L and D. I am really enjoying this final step towards a goal that has been in my heart for more than 15 years!<br />
I am learning a lot. Juggling family centred care, charting and vigilance. Being an advocate for the patient, and establishing a relationship with the MD team ( be it OB or GP) is a very important part of L and D nursing. recognizing patterns that will have an impact on the labour process. Preventing Labour Dystocia( failure to progress). Implementing coping mechanisms for pain management, and transition to parenthood. This is the nursing I am meant to do.<br />
Don't get me wrong, I love the many branches of nursing, and the variety of specialties, and I know I can be a good nurse anywhere, anytime. But I am 1000% sure labour and delivery is the place I want to be!!<br />
In the family front, my guys are doing very well adjusting to the 12 hour shifts on days and nights. The older boys are helping with getting the little ones ready for school, with cleaning( even if not mom standards) and even if I get mad at them at times. They are always wishing me a good shift or asking how was work?? Giving me hugs, space and time to sleep. My Neil is amazing and has been there for me all this time, and going above and beyond and doing and going to kids things more than me! I think sometimes people might think he is a single dad- he might hate football by the end of this fall. One thing I know- he is proud of me and loves me!! And I love him and have a great deal of respect for him, and for allowing me to have this "ME" time and change of career!<br />
Now I have applied for graduation, I did it last week, and took a picture and sent it to Neil! I can't process this yet haha!! I am also in the process of applying for graduate nurse status, and registering for CRNE (Canadian Registered Nurse Exam). It seems so surreal, and so rewarding, and so exciting!!!<br />

My preceptor is awesome!!!!! Miss M is a great teacher a hard worker, and a just a fantastic lady!! she is patient, even if she tells me its hard to let go haha!!! I'm having a great learning experience. I cant believe I am a almost at 100 hours!!!<br />
I have done IV's and PACU( recovery room) post c-section, and have been a labour coach, support and have done tons of teaching!!!<br />
I SURVIVED 12 hour night shifts. They were not as bad as I thought. I actually stayed up all night, and was able to drive home safely. I do have to say that as soon as hit the pillow I was dead to the world. Funny story, Neil was home sick with a cold and I asked him to wake me at 1230 so I could be awake and in bed a t regular time. So being the wonderful husband he is proceeded to wake me at my request. If you know you know I don't swear ( swear often) so I told him to leave me the "F" alone I just wanted to sleep!! Poor guy, I guess he laughed and almost wished he would have had his iPhone handy to take a video!!! I felt so bad for him, and would love to seen myself being a complete jerk!!!!He said it was funny!!<br />
L and D is fascinating, thrilling, and fast paced I love it!!!! I'm starting to feel more comfortable with my charting and my time management, although there are times when I feel so slow!! The unit is great the nursing team is very welcoming, and the doctors are great, and the clinical clerks are kind of funny you can smell their fear haha!! I wonder if the nurses can smell my fear- probably.<br />
I feel at home in L and D. I just hope I can make a good impression and show my passion and drive and get a job there!Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-8145090393011613922013-09-15T22:55:00.001-06:002013-09-15T22:55:43.651-06:00It has began!!!!! I have met my preceptor, a great nurse whom I will call M. She is so very nice. She actually had a meeting with me and my advisor on campus to meet. I have my schedule figured out to get all my hours in. I have done two shifts and learned so much, and done so much!!! I have successfully started IV's and been labour support, and charting and doing all kinds of great things!! 12 hour shifts go by fast, but by the time I get home I am very tired haha!! Tomorrow I will be doing my first 12 hour night shift- Oh MY that might kill me. But in labour and delivery nights might be a bit crazy- all my babies came at night!!<br />
M is an awesome teacher, and very patient with me!!! I am still second guessing myself at some things, but for the most part I am doing alright- getting the hang of things!!!!<br />
One of the things I'm working on is Fetal Heart Monitor Tracing(FHMT). This is a machine that reads fetal heart rate and contractions, and even though not 100% accurate it can give the nursing staff and the rest of the obstetrics team a picture of how the baby is handling the labour process. It is specially used when when things are happening such as mom getting an epidural. Epidurals can cause baby to have bradycardia (low heart rate [HR]). I have attached some pictures I found on the web. FHMT is complex and I could write for days. The reader's digest version is: There are two separate strips on the pictures( below) the top is the babies heart rate, and the bottom is the moms contractions. Our Job is to watch how the contractions are affecting the baby. First there is a baseline this is where the baby's HR trending or averaging at. There should accelerations( heart rate going above baseline) and decelerations( below baseline). We want to watch changes for example decelerations that occur with the contraction are normal, specially if the heart rate bounces back up to the base line . There are a lot of things we need to take into consideration when reading the strip, and sometimes to the untrained eye it may look bad, when in fact it is not. That is what I am trying to accomplish this week!! I can now read the strips, but I am not very fast at charting the haha!! Charting- that is something that requires it's own blog!!<br />
Wish me luck tomorrow!!<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">my dream is coming true<br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">
It has been a long long time since I even looked at my blog, or even had the time to think about writing. So here it is!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On January, 2012 i embarked on a new journey. I started nursing school. After a wonderful 15 years of being a stayhome mom i need to get back to what I left behind to be the best mom I could be for my kids!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is now September 2013 and I am 378 hours from becoming a graduate nurse!! I just can not believe i have made it this far. Many long nights studying, many trials and tribulations, and many hours away from my family are paying off.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A bit of background- why nursing?<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZp8OrrH2aMoZuc-oPoY1y_7zfL4RINPDEUx78u2JiLcwlkj0FvNJh2E3f-sxKFCKN9b7AoAItcj2yVchULeGtegvRyguSCHVYCxdZktngmewhGPH0IAMKKVSCCRN4EP13YLSO/s1600/IMG_0938.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZp8OrrH2aMoZuc-oPoY1y_7zfL4RINPDEUx78u2JiLcwlkj0FvNJh2E3f-sxKFCKN9b7AoAItcj2yVchULeGtegvRyguSCHVYCxdZktngmewhGPH0IAMKKVSCCRN4EP13YLSO/s320/IMG_0938.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love babies and teaching, and have always loved healthcare, medicine, and specially maternal health. So I looked into midwifery, medicine and nursing, I researched the different professions and nursing fit me like a glove. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So in 2009 i started taking some classes that were pre- requisites for the nursing transfer program.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I applied for Sept. 2011 entry, but due to budget cuts and and a crazy GPA (3.85) I didn't get in. But I believe things happen for a reason, and now I can see it! I was meant to start Jan 2012.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nursing School- Well it has been a lot of hard work, and great experiences, I have met many great people, and have made some awesome friends, I never expected to forge such great friendships. I have found many great mentors, I have been partnered with some great nurses, and some not so great ones, but I have learnt from all of them. I have community and acute care experience. I have done clinical placements in mental health, cardiac, neuro, and maternal health. I was always told not hold on to the L&D dream, as I would find other branches in nursing I would like, and would change my mind many times before deciding where I would work! I have to say that I loved all my placements, but L&D has been my love for a long time!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have learnt many skills and Increased my critical thinking..... Yes that nursing talk haha<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3LG6EXwhJNtZxH3EWuvS3-glBgz-Zq90zMfAC_DP7_jn3RoBGZKioptmumml-AVfFmyozNoP_rmCBK0qf_rlHgnNeowdcnHliQm8LHsiVp3aHGeUkwSW93cuz7e0yHDjKEVpv/s1600/IMG_2634.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3LG6EXwhJNtZxH3EWuvS3-glBgz-Zq90zMfAC_DP7_jn3RoBGZKioptmumml-AVfFmyozNoP_rmCBK0qf_rlHgnNeowdcnHliQm8LHsiVp3aHGeUkwSW93cuz7e0yHDjKEVpv/s320/IMG_2634.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The bottom line-I have always wanted to be in maternal health. So I went into nursing to be a labour and delivery nurse. I am starting a final preceptorship( practicum) in L and D. I am so excited and nervous, but I know I can do it!! I have gotten this far, I can see the finish line.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Next tuesday I have my orientation, I will find out who my preceptor will be, and will figure out the last three months of my nursing undergrad!!! Oh and I have a UNE( undergraduate nursing employee) job in the immunization clinics this fall!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I decided to document this nerve wrecking most exciting phase in my life!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have to Thank my fabulous husband who does the laundry and deals with my craziness, my children Wesley who is now starting university after a year off from grade 12 grad. I thank him for driving his brothers and doing some of the house work even if slowly haha! To Ethan my "helper" as his abuela( grandma in spanish) calls him. He is my right hand when it come to cleaning and cooking. And to the little ones Noah and Luke for being so cool and sharing their mom with Lizette's dream!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here I go- wish me luck!!</div>

I'm loving it, and sad that it's half way done!!!<div>For the month of Aug I was lucky to get a bag of goodies with the ECHO PARK collection- Sweet Summer, and let me tell you it is just yummy! I love it! It's bright and fun, and it brought me back to basics, to the simple lines and to the focus of photos and a bit away from the bells and whistles of our industry! I loved it!</div><div>The first two cards were fun to make, and the journal was one of my favorite projects.</div><div>The layouts were really fun to make, I am digging the pinwheels, and the scalloped edges. </div><div>One of my favorite accents was my "family tree"( by the way only my friend Jess got it, that I know of lol) By far my favorite LO was " my boys of.... summer" because they are who I scrap for and about. They are my inspiration and my reason for scrapping. </div><div>So enjoy! I sure did!</div><div><br /></div>Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-77620643624720393312010-07-23T17:38:00.004-06:002010-07-24T10:38:12.997-06:00TAG you are it<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ6dUDSHvZFkFlh6wxyrCA4epib2w0HMLPY5E-TYhtYe-wKtwtSKe0aB3brZs_UvMbku4P6f25130k4PYMAEPQPxqg_D9z7eAeufJRTmTajcbXa3zNXAgMh4TvCVfVZINkYSWB/s1600/IMG_0363.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 319px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ6dUDSHvZFkFlh6wxyrCA4epib2w0HMLPY5E-TYhtYe-wKtwtSKe0aB3brZs_UvMbku4P6f25130k4PYMAEPQPxqg_D9z7eAeufJRTmTajcbXa3zNXAgMh4TvCVfVZINkYSWB/s320/IMG_0363.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497252150291287314" /></a><br />One of the fun things about Scrap Shotz is the tag game. Once people sign up to play the first person( Hostess) on the list sends a LO to the next person in a PM then that person creates a LO based on the PM. Once the person who is <b>it</b> finishes the LO she then in turn tags the next person on the list, while sending her LO to the Hostess as she has the job of creating a reveal! This goes on until the last person finishes her LO. Clear as mud? <div>Anywho, I enjoy this cool game as it gets my creative juices going!!!</div><div>This LO is what I came up with for the game, and it was fun to play! </div><div>Oh and I wanted to mention that the cool fan looking flowers I learnt to make from Leica Forrest's blog entry for <a href="http://www.scrapbook-adhesives.com/blog/archives/86">scrapbooking adhesive by 3L</a></div>Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-42890472226698685822010-07-08T09:53:00.004-06:002010-07-08T10:10:24.539-06:00Petal Pushers<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd2Gvitsq9YfTTVwVTlTODC8FJJmTJ_quQR_JHc3JpeWkUvvWz_POY3NbRzXuXSibd5YobjPK9XqhDtPKkCa9QbtElAdc6kTT71ghZTJBv0l4l0YXhYe9i9Kl5F2oRrqzj8YsQ/s1600/IMG_7713.JPG"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 314px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd2Gvitsq9YfTTVwVTlTODC8FJJmTJ_quQR_JHc3JpeWkUvvWz_POY3NbRzXuXSibd5YobjPK9XqhDtPKkCa9QbtElAdc6kTT71ghZTJBv0l4l0YXhYe9i9Kl5F2oRrqzj8YsQ/s320/IMG_7713.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491567055183535730" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3YZxfUk_zB4cBZjHAFcuRDUiHw2Ggx4P7T4czKcznPH3Hh4gVlJ4eQOnc9ZXdycAQYaqd2E9cerem4C-UCWRokYkVAr9Y_SDnKwX5m5L0qzhyGlbpp0QbCiHoZAaHUsvrL8lU/s1600/IMG_7704.JPG"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 318px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3YZxfUk_zB4cBZjHAFcuRDUiHw2Ggx4P7T4czKcznPH3Hh4gVlJ4eQOnc9ZXdycAQYaqd2E9cerem4C-UCWRokYkVAr9Y_SDnKwX5m5L0qzhyGlbpp0QbCiHoZAaHUsvrL8lU/s320/IMG_7704.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491565900988556130" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0jeTXNcAvANc0wHckNDWrkoEqIvJtb4PIdEUiRpZT76Y7N-ka-mIrYCo3PSJ7TW4HwdiQGAZ_FetXCnw8S6j71mi2p5KQONVreN-LtS_8VNFmp-BAkVLbOsgJbn57u3i5lxHN/s1600/IMG_7718.JPG"><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 318px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0jeTXNcAvANc0wHckNDWrkoEqIvJtb4PIdEUiRpZT76Y7N-ka-mIrYCo3PSJ7TW4HwdiQGAZ_FetXCnw8S6j71mi2p5KQONVreN-LtS_8VNFmp-BAkVLbOsgJbn57u3i5lxHN/s320/IMG_7718.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491565889075287634" /></a><br />I loved the DT package I got for my first projects as a guest designer for <a href="http://www.scrapshotz.com/">Scrapshotz</a>. He is off to Jr High in the fall. I am so very proud of him, but at the same time very sad. My mommy heart is very sad that another one of my babies is growing up. I mean that in literal sense of the word. He is almost as tall as me( no great accomplishment as some may say tee hee). The farewell at the school was very nice, all the kids got a yearbook, a t-shirt, and a framed diploma, plus a Holy Bible. I will post pictures tomorrow!<br /><br />In other news, I've been scrapping, and have great scrappy news. I have been asked to do a three month design team spot for <a href="http://www.scrapshotz.com/">Scrapshotz</a>, only my most favorite online store! What I mean is every time we passed a work site there was always one or two guys working really hard, and three to five others having a "coffee/smoke break". Being at school is much more work that I remembered. This is the first year that my tree hasn't been up on or before dec. 1. I am currently taking a break from 3 essays, due the 7th and the 8th. I have a test on the 7th and then I will have finals. Thankfully I will be done on the 15. <br />Once I'm done, the fun will continue, with my online class, and preparing for a block week class early in Jan. <br />Christmas will be busy. I am also taking some shifts at Scrapbooker's, I miss that place. My co-workers, and the yummy product.<br />Anyways. The picture is of a muffin tin advent calendar I made for the kids, with Inspiration from Holly( my coworker at Scrapbookers Paradise!Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-33592507548080948602009-10-12T13:50:00.002-06:002009-10-12T13:59:17.204-06:00Happy Turkey DayMan oh man, I should be doing homework, but I am being lazy.<br />We had a great Thanksgiving feast with Family and friends yesterday.<br />So for all of you that didn't know I am now back in UNiversity, full time.<br />It has been an adjustment, it has been a while since my brain had to work this hard.<br />It has been fun, and I ma loving it.<br />Besides being a full time student, I am still a full time mom. The boys are coping well!<br />My husband is amazing, he supports my efforts and is doing a great job helping me out with everything, from tutoring me in SATS to taking more house hold chores so I can succeed in school!<br />Ethan just had his birthday, and Luke will be 6 on OCt 14.<br />Noah is doing much better with his reading, and Wesley is doing well in HS so far. We'll see how good come report card time.<br />The weather has not been kind to us!! it's freaking cold!<br />Well I guess that's it for now.<br />Next time I get bored while doing homework, I 'll come and update!Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-59987217160836411912009-08-16T10:23:00.002-06:002009-08-16T10:41:24.577-06:00IT seems.........that due to facebook I have been neglecting this here blog! <br />Many things have happened in the last few months. The most exciting part is that I am going back to university. This will be a major change. A change that will affect not only myself, but my whole crew. I have not taken a university class in almost 10 years, and even then I was going part time. This september I will be full time. I will be taking four classes each term. I am scared, but as someone once told me " I won half the battle because I want to be there". My goal is to become a labour and delivery nurse.<br />It will be a long 4 years but I am ready for the challenge.<br />I am truly blessed to have a wonderful husband and kids that support my decision. They also are aware of the challenges ahead, and are in this with me 100%.<br />So this fall we will have a university student, a high school student, and three elementary school students in our house.<br />I am still at the scrapbook store, I will be on a teaching only basis. I will decide then if a part time job, a full time university career, and a family of 6 can survive and coexist. If it doesn't; it's with great sadness that the part time job will have to go.<br />So now back o school shopping a has a new meaning for me. I am now armed with a MacBook and a cool back pack. I am ready for this new chapter in my life.Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-23414884252090653332009-03-31T09:11:00.002-06:002009-03-31T09:35:32.672-06:00OMG......prodigal blogger is backI can not believe how long it has been since I had the mojo for blogging.<br />Many things have happened. But I will not bore you with the details.<br />The latest is that my oldest son just turned 15 years old. He is a handsome young man with a good heart and he is almost 6 feet tall.<br />I got a rebel, and I love it I took a photography class thru scrapshotz and I have learnt a lot!<br />Camp Cropping<br />~I'm going to camp cropping this year again. I am happy to say that I will be sitting with my friends from Scrapshotz<br />~ I have a lot for the donation box, the childrens hospital takes scrapbook donations from the campers at CC.<br />~I have yet to organize my tools and other supplies for my classes I am taking 6 of them and I'm pumped!!! I also get to be tent mom( TA in the class) should be fun.<br />Last year I went by myself, this year I'm going by myself again but I have tons of friends that will be there. so it should be fun and I'm really looking forward to it!Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-47654246528235775112008-08-13T09:33:00.002-06:002008-08-13T09:50:06.743-06:00AlmostSummer is almost over, I'm not surprised, it sure went fast. Wesley will be done camp on the 15th and we're going to Vernon to pick him up.<br />We're also going to have a small family holiday, we'll visit Great grandpa and grandma in Abbotsford, we're going to the states for a day with my mom and dad that live in Surrey, and we're going to Penticton. I am looking forward o this small holiday, it will be a blast. Last summer unfortunately we were not able to take more than a long weekend because Dh had a busy summer at work.<br />A small to trip to Saskatoon for the long weekend will be a great way to finish the summer.<br />This September Wesley will be in grade 9, his last year of Jr High. Ethan will be in grade 5, Noah will be in grade 3, and my bay boy will be going into kinder garden. <br />I still have school supplies to buy. I told my self that I would do it before we went on holidays, but I never made it to walmart or staples yet....argh...oh well I guess I'll fight the crowds and wish that I can find everything.<br />On a scrappy note, I was able to take part in the scrapbook takeout online crop, and I had a blast, also I won a crop-a-die 2.<br />Oh and are you watching the olympics? I am , even though I enjoy the winter ones a lot more. the gymnastics and swimming are my favorite for the summer sports.<br />Our poor athletes, they have so many close finishes. frustrating, but I will not go into my personal feeling s about it. All i can say that I am proud of the Canadian men and women competing in the Olympics. Go team CanadaLizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-63237574358528079082008-08-01T14:38:00.002-06:002008-08-01T14:48:48.610-06:00its been a whilehmmm April was my last blog entry.<br />I just have been busy and lazy, however I don't think it was missed lol.<br />spring came and went, and we're half way thru summer.<br />Our summer has been a busy one<br />mom and day came for a quick visit<br />Wesley is in Vernon for a 6 week camp, at the cadet training center. <br />went to the stampede<br />my Van got keyed<br />My family came to visit and we had so much fun.( we missed Wesley though, it's not the same with out him)<br />the boys had a sports camp at my gym.<br />We made a quick trip to see Wesley in Vernon. <br />I got a wisdom tooth pulled and now I'm in pain, and the tylenol 3 makes me throw up.<br />this was our summer so far. <br />off to puke, again...yuck!Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35821838.post-44572136675917217622008-04-22T08:16:00.002-06:002008-04-22T08:37:58.862-06:00It's Amazing.........how a RAK( random act of kindness) can brighten one's day or week.<br />I receive a wonderful RAK from My friend <a href="http://vexedangel.blogspot.com/">Ann-Marie</a>. She had told me that I had a little something coming my way. I expected a card but I was blown away when I got two packs of 12x12 pp ( Love Elssies Toby line) and some embellies.<br />IT brought tears to my eyes. Tears of happiness and love.<br />Specially since I had a trying week, and weekend, you see<br />.....it will take me days to explain, so in a nut shell<br />Almost 7 weeks ago we bought a 2007 dodge caravan I have been back to the dealer 8 times in less than 7 weeks. I keep on telling them what is wrong and they keep on ignoring me and checking "the possible cause"<br />I had it!!! argh, I yelled at my sales rep told him that I felt that the took my money and then I didn't matter at all after that, I told him I wanted a trade, and that It should make me HAPPY and It should NOT cost me a penny!!! He talked to his boss and agreed that a trade for what I want within reason( similar or slightly better) is the best solution to my problem<br />The weather sucks we got over 20 cm of snow about, but today its going to 0. I was having friend issues. I have been left out out of major happenings....I excepted that it was crossed wires. Then I try to help to lessen peoples loads, but all the help I have offered goes unnoticed or it just comes back to kick me in A$$ . Glad the issues are fixed and its all good now<br />I ordered a calendar kit...I was supposed to get it 3 weeks ago, the company I ordered it from allows people in the city to pick up the kit in the city to save deli every charges. There was a delay with Calendar it self( i will take pics when I finally get it). I was supposed to pick it on, p sat honed the lady's house she tell me that I can come ANY time sat. I phoned to see if I could come 10 am....she says no I'm in my PJ's and its in my truck( not sure when I'll make it to my garage she says), If you give me your address I "might" stop by and drop it off!!!!!!<br />I finally received the calendar on Saturday but it was past 4, I had re arranged my day to put together my Calendar. I did manage to finish my April one since I payed for it( I thought that I should get the kit at a discount since it was them and not me that was late getting the kit to me)<br />Ann Marie's RAK reminded me how lucky I am, how blessed I am and that one little gesture from a dear friend, can make a difference in my life, and make some other little or big problem seem insignificant when you feel love friendship and kindness.<br />A million Thanks Ann-MarieLizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04103931990275146359noreply@blogger.com3
